Pro Wrestling Entertainment (PWE) is Nashville's PREMIER sports and entertainment organization.

The ground is set to shake at the Purchase District Fairgrounds once again. Pro Wrestling Entertainment (PWE) has officially announced its return to Mayfield on Thursday, May 21, for the highly anticipated sequel, “Mayfield Mayhem II.”

Building on the energy of last year’s packed house, this year’s event promises a mix of championship prestige and a massive surprise that has the regional wrestling world buzzing.

The Main Event: “The Code” Stands His Ground

The centerpiece of the evening will be a massive PWE Championship title defense. The current reigning and defending champion, “The Code” Colby Carter, is slated to put his gold on the line.

Carter, a rising powerhouse known for his tactical precision and “football-tough” style, has become the standard-bearer for PWE. Since capturing the title, “The Code” has fought off all challengers, but Mayfield Mayhem II represents his most high-profile defense to date. While his opponent has yet to be named, PWE officials hint that the challenger will be someone capable of cracking “The Code” once and for all.

A Hall of Fame Mystery

Perhaps the most intriguing news of the night is the confirmed appearance of a WWE Hall of Famer. While PWE is no stranger to legends—having previously hosted icons like Jerry “The King” Lawler, Jeff Jarrett, Sgt. Slaughter, Sycho Sid, Koko B Ware, Bill Dundee, Tommy Rich, Doug Gilbert and many more—management has confirmed that this mystery guest has never appeared at a PWE event before. Speculation is already running wild among local fans.

The Purchase District Fair has always been a cornerstone of the Mayfield community, and PWE is dead set on turning “Wrestling Night” into a must-see annual tradition. With the high-flying athleticism of the modern era and the nostalgic gravity of a Hall of Fame legend, Mayfield Mayhem II is shaping up to be the professional wrestling event of the summer in Western Kentucky.

“We wanted to bring something special back to Mayfield,” says PWE Promoter Jason James. “Bringing a Hall of Famer who has never stepped foot in a PWE ring before ensures that May 21st will be a night of firsts.”
